Love

“Love: Art, Ideas, Music, Politics”

Love Collective, Wollongong / Kembla Press (Australia)
Role: collaborator/design consultant

Love: Art, Ideas, Music, Politics is a collaborative practice-led research creation that explores how affective, community-based interventions can reframe socio-political discourse and civic engagement through the concept of love. Serving as co-organiser, creative director, and contributor, I was involved with conceptualising and executing two community festivals alongside designing and publishing an edited volume (Love: Art, Ideas, Music, Politics, Kembla Press, 2020). Methodologically, the work establishes an innovative multidisciplinary platform combining visual art, spatial design, music, and critical essay writing, offering a generative alternative to conventional political commentary and contributing new knowledge on practice-led curatorial strategies for civic participation.
